Repair Disclosure

Thank you for choosing NMR. Please review these requirements prior to repair:

  • Ensure that all files (Pictures, Music, Address Book, MS Office files, etc.) have been backed-up prior to the technician visit. NMR is not responsible for data loss.
  • The technician is only authorized to replace parts on your computer and is not equipped to perform any software troubleshooting or system configuration.
  • The technician will take the defective part(s) back with them if performing warranty services. If you wish to keep the part(s) you will have to purchase them.
  • Our Site technicians operate during business hours (9am – 5pm local time).
  • The On-Site technician will contact you once the part has been received to schedule the actual visit
  • The On-Site technician will make a final confirmation call before going to the premises. If you are unavailable during agreed upon appointment time, you will need to reschedule the appointment with the technician
  • *Accidental damage is not covered by the warranty. If accidental damage is the cause of the unit’s failure, the machine cannot be repaired onsite. If you would like to have the machine repaired, you we can send the machine to our repair center for evaluation.
  • There is a non-refundable diagnostic fee of $65.00 to evaluate the machine.
  • Once we’ve determined what parts are required for the repair, a NMR representative will contact you with the final quotation.
  • If you wish to proceed with the repair, the $65.00 diagnostic fee will be applied toward the total repair cost
  • *HDD Replacement
    • If the technician is unable to reload the operating system during the visit, and you need to reload the operating system yourself, please do the following:
    • When reloading your machine using recovery discs, load the discs according to their sequence numbers.
    • This applies to Recovery DVDs ONLY.
    • Important: If any of the discs have duplicate sequence numbers:
    • Look for the part number printed under the sequence number and follow that sequence.
    • The part number is labelled as P/N
